The figure is based on a Romanian folklore. Ion is one of the brothers in the Humulesti family. Lonela makes each of the characters come to life. Ion wears a beige coloured bear fur hat. He is well reknowed for visiting the pubs as soon as they open! hence his red face. Hand made and painted. The figure sits on a small wooden platform which in turn is mounted on a wooden frame.Ceramic and wood.
