Our Artist – Kateryna

Zaliwana Accessories was delighted to collaborate with Kateryna on the amazing floral illustrations throughout our website Kateryna is a Ukrainian born artist and illustrator, based in the UK. The brief was for her to illustrate Zaliwana Accessories depicting the beauty of nature to show how varied and diverse it is; whether in form, colour, seasonality, texture or size, however, yet all plants having space and time to grow, flourish and thrive. We felt this message was comparable to our lovely audience and resonated well with our beautiful products too- each one of them specially created to be enjoyed by our customers.

Kateryna regularly illustrates for British magazines and books and also works with Brands  both local and international. Her clients The Guardian, Richement and Somerset House to name a few. The war has changed the subject of Kateryna’s art: by using symbols of Ukraine. Such as flowers, birds and colours, now she is trying to visualise the essence of Ukrainian soul, the peaceful and poetic land that lives in our hearts.
